The Bovy collection is inspired by a masterpiece of the art of medal making devoted to Chopin: a work of Jean-François-Antoine Bovy.In 1837, this Geneva-based artisan portrayed the artist in the left profile in a medallion, his talent and dexterity earning making it recognised a masterpiece from the moment of origin. The way the composer is presented in Bovy’s medallions has become an icon that inspires artists to this day.
The whole collection is protected with Patent No. 231,338 from the Polish Patent Office.
